JiangSu, situated at the centre of the eastern coast of China, stretches on both banks of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and boards the Yellow Sea in the east, covering a total area of 102,600 sq km.
JiangSu has a long history of a relatively developed economy and culture. Rich in landscape gardens, scenic attractions and historical sites, it is noted for having the largest number of historical cities in China. Such cities include Nanjing, Suzhou, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Changshu, Xuzhou and Huai'an. It is very wealthy among the provinces of China, with the second highest total GDP (after Guangdong), its southern cities like Suzhou and Wuxi have GDP per capita around twice the provincial average, making south Jiangsu one of the most prosperous regions in China.
Organised by the Department of Personnel, this is one of the largest recruitment party to come from a single region to date. As part of a European tour, we are proud to be hosting their first event at Brunel University – London. Nearly 1000 vacancies from all sectors are available, we welcome all Chinese graduates (Bachelors degree or above) and British graduates who are interested in a career in China.
