Fruitstock festival in London in August 2005

Note: There will not be a Fruitstock event in 2007. Instead there will be a much smaller event called innocent village fete in Regent's Park on Sat 4th/Sun 5th August 2007. This will involve many of the aspects of a traditional, family-friendly village fete: homemade cakes, a big farmers market, welly-throwing, coconut shies, fruit and veg competitions, Morris dancers, fancy dress, arts and crafts, places to rest and relax, a knitting tent, space to put down a rug and enjoy a family picnic. Entertainment will be provided by unplugged bands (there will be no big stage), comedians and local theatre groups, and maybe a dog agility display team. LONDON COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR

It's time for some inspiring gospel singing, thanks to the London Community Gospel Choir. You may have seen the choir at the Live8 concert in Hyde Park in July 2005, where they backed Madonna as she sang "Like a Prayer".

Percussion in the park: the Innocent Drum Club tour Gloucester Green before getting up on stage for some rousing rhythms.

HAL

HAL is an Irish quartet - brothers Dave and Paul Allen (vocals/guitar and vocals/bass respectively), Stephen O'Brien (keyboards) and Steve Hogan (drums). Among the songs played were their last single "Play the Hits" and the two tracks on the new single "Don't Come Running" / "I Sat Down"

Us3 combines rap, jazz and Latin music. The band has had several changes of vocalists since it was formed in 1992 by London-based producer Geoff Wilkinson. It continues to enjoy success in the US, Europe and Japan.
